The Writer

I'm Hank's handler. I'm not exactly sure why he trusts me with his stories, but he does. And I've agreed to pass them on to all of you.

While Hank tramps around the USA playing Hotshot Hero — writing his memoir in shady diners and truck stops — I'm here in Southern Georgia, studying Philosophy and working on my craft. I'm a Copywriter, though I don't push it much here. I prefer to let my Creative Writing speak for me.

The Character

Hank Cotton is the vessel. Practical intelligence as instinct — he reads the road, the ditch, the mountain. His moral realism isn't a philosophy, it's a habit built from watching what people actually do when nobody's keeping score.
